Brief Company History

  • 1992 – MCS founded by Warren Newhauser. Focused on smaller projects to improve CAD productivity. Managed development of CADMANDU, a document management program for Autodesk/Bentley customers, fully automated common ordinate dimensioning tool for mechanical design.
  • 1994 – Developed our first document management conversion system, automated plotting tool, and GIS production tools.
  • 1996 – Developed Primary Distribution Map application to manage distribution network for electric utility companies by their system owners. Began development of revolutionary software programs PicturePaste and MultiPlot.
  • 1998 – PicturePaste acquired by Axiom International, which became a top-selling Microsoft Office Importer.
  • 1998 – Began creating tools to help retailers create store fixtures. Also developed tools to automate CAD details and bills of materials for precast concrete industry.
  • 2000 – Collaborated with gas utilities to promote GIS/CAD integration. Developed electrical schematic tools to automate instrument & control drawings in electric transmission protection circuits. Started development of RAS/Edit raster editing software.
  • 2002 – Full scale retail store planning system development for large national retailer. RAS/Edit adopted by many large companies (incl. Union Pacific Railroad, ArcelorMittall).
  • 2008 – RAS/Edit raster editing software acquired by Axiom International.
  • 2008 – US Army Corps becomes enterprise client for Detail Manager PLUS web edition to use for publishing CAD details (internally and to outside vendors). Developed structural steel estimating system.
  • 2010 – Focused on retail store planning software suite development
  • 2013 – iOS app development services added. Delivered KameaKare app for IT services company.
  • 2014 – Android app development services added. ResumeExpert Android app
